Seasons Greetings to all our Members!

We hope you've had a great year here in this wonderful Ruby Valley--or that you at least got to spend some of your year here. Thank you for your continued support of our communities and businesses through renewal of your membership!

Letter from the President

Dear Greater Ruby Valley Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture Members:
It has been a pleasure to have you as a Ruby Valley Chamber member and we hope you will continue to support our community with a renewal of your membership. It is…

Renewing Online

  Sue Marxer

It's that time of year again. This year, since we started earlier, I'm hoping to avoid disappearing listings. The key to remember is that listings are a benefit of a paid membership which expires Dec. 31. Listings have a grace period of 30 to 45 days.

On December 31 the first batch of emails will go out to about half the members, and a 2nd round will go out January 15 -- regardless of the date, members have 30 days from email until listing expiration. (If your renewal has already been recorded for 2019 you won't get the emails.)

To renew online you MUST use the link provided in the email since that is the only way to get to the payment page. You will need to log-in, so contact support@rubyvalleychamber.com if you need your username.

The 2nd automatic reminder will go out 3 days before your listing expires. Once it expires you won't be able to see it until you click the link in the email and pay. Once you've paid, your listing will reactivate and you can update it. Lastly, a 3rd reminder will go out 2 weeks after expiration.

AND, as always, we accept checks, and there is a blue "Pay Now" button on the contact page that doesn't require logging in. Both of these methods are processed manually, so please be patient.

I will also take this opportunity to thank all you faithful members for hanging in there during these past 3 years of transition. Now that I'm finally figuring out what the pain points are and how to manage them...I'm beginning the process of training someone to take over the website and we will try our best to make the transition as seamless as possible. I will be here through this renewal season and available to assist throughout the year if needed. I truly appreciate the wonderful group of volunteers I've had the privilege to get to know and work with, and I am beyond excited about the young professionals that have gotten involved, and the refreshing enthusiasm they bring into the organization. Don't miss the upcoming Membership meeting!

Community Celebrations

Left photo is from the Sheridan Christmas Stroll, and on right, is the Twin Bridges Feast-ival. Both are linked to the website, and in case you haven't seen them, they each have a 2 min. video. (And, I refrained from apologizing before...but the Twin video looks like Grandma got carried away. Truth is--I just didn't get enough photos that turned out. She had a blast!)
